Insurance Authorization Specialist

Pride Health is hiring an Insurance Authorization Specialist for one of its clients in San Antonio, Texas.

This is a 3-month contract with a temp to hire with competitive pay and benefits.

Location San Antonio, Texas 78216

Length of assignment 3 months (temp to hire)

Pay range - $17 - $20 per hour.

Shift Monday Friday 9 am to 5 pm

Onsite during the contract period and they can be remote after the transition.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in healthcare, LPN state license and registration preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of medical insurance verification and authorization preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of medical insurance verification and authorization and two (2) years of clinical review experience required.

Work Environment : The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology / hematology clinic environment.

Work will involve in-person interaction with co-worker’s management and / or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
