Job Description:

Job Title: X-Ray/CT Tech

Location: Kealakekua, HI 96750

Schedule: Mon-Fri with EOW (12x3)

Shift: Day/ Evening/ Night

Pay Range: $70 - $80 hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Perform CT and X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are obtained.

Operate Siemens AS DEF 128 CT equipment proficiently to capture accurate images.

Position patients and provide clear instructions to optimize imaging results and patient comfort.

Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines to minimize exposure risks for patients, staff, and self.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.

Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate timely and accurate diagnosis.

Maintain and troubleshoot CT/X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency imaging needs within the Level 3 Trauma Center.

Uphold departmental standards of quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certification: Registered in Radiologic Technology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

CT Certification: Registered as a CT Technologist with ARRT.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in performing CT and X-ray procedures, with specific experience using Siemens AS DEF 128 equipment.

Skills: Proficient in independently operating CT and X-ray equipment, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
