Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technician to support our client's hospital facility in Jamaica Plain, MA. This is a 13-weeks travel contract role.

ROLE: Performs imaging procedures in an efficient and safe manner. Customers may include neonate, infants, children, adolescent, adult or geriatric.

Duties:

• Performs procedures accurately. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately. Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.

• Maintains accurate customer medical records. Ensures confidentiality of all medical records.

• Utilizes Imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.

• Interacts with physicians, co-workers, customers, and families in professional manner.

• Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.

• Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.

• The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.

• The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement were deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.

Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent - Required.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. - Required

• Previous mammography experience - Required.

• BLS(AHA) certification. Required.

Shift Time: Monday 7:30 am – 4 pm, Tuesday 7:30 am – 7:00 pm, Wednesday off, Thursday 7:30 am – 4pm, Friday 7:30 am – 4pm

Location: Jamaica Plain, MA

Floating Requirements: NA.

Pay range: $3,182.40 weekly package

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.
