Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Albuquerque, NM. This is a 3- Months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Job Type : 3 months - W2 contract - with possible extension.

Schedule : 8 am – 5 pm M-F.

Pay Range : $21 - $23 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)

Responsibilities:

• Rooms patients according to policy and procedures and prepares patients for examination.
• Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and promptly.
• Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms, and sterilizes instruments.
• Telephone and in-person screening is limited to the intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS is required.
• Minimum1 year of medical assistant experience is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program is required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistants with experience are preferred.
