Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Danbury, Connecticut. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including clinical summaries and guidance on next steps or follow-up actions.
• Collaborate as part of the care team by preparing patients for consultations, collecting, and recording clinical information following protocols.
• Accurately and promptly document all patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Proactively monitor task buckets to address tasks promptly, follow up on overdue orders/worklists, and oversee the status of critical referrals

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certified Medical Assistant
• Medical assistant experience is preferred

Additional Information:

• Location: Danbury, Connecticut
• Job Type: contract to hire.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday – 07:30 am to 05:30 pm
• Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
