Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team in Graniteville, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and systems, as well as experience with various PLCs, networking and communication systems, and AC drives. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and reliability of our industrial production and processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Equipment Installation and Testing: Collaborate with the Engineering team to install, test, and release new equipment.
• CMMS Recording: Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment used in industrial production, processing, pipeline distribution, and conveyors.
• PLC Management: Work with various Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Networking and Communications: Manage and troubleshoot EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet systems.
• Motor and Drive Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with AC drives, motors, encoders, and resolvers.
• Device Calibration: Calibrate flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops.
• Mechanical Knowledge: Work with bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, and perform equipment rebuilds and repairs.
• Automation Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot automation and distributed control system architectures.
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Handle and maintain hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and rotating equipment.
• Technical Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, and test results.
• Part Inspection: Inspect parts for damage and wear.
• Machinery Testing: Test and observe running machinery for proper operation.
• Tool Use: Utilize hoists and lifts, grinders, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing equipment effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and systems.
• Proficiency with various PLCs, AC drives, and motor troubleshooting.
• Experience with networking and communications systems (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as automation and distributed control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
