Job Title: RN - Cardiac Care Unit

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Shift Time: Days

Shift Schedule: 3x12

Contract Duration: 03-Months (High possibility of extension)

Job Description:

We are currently looking to hire a highly skilled and committed Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a Level I or II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and proficiency in techniques such as "Impella, Swan-Ganz, A-lines, vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, as well as medication titration". Preferred qualifications include CCRN and TCRN certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize the nursing process in provision of direct patient care.

- Responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating care for assigned patients.

- Delivery of care based on standards and practices established by the Department of Nursing and other policies.

- Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems through various services.

- Supervise patient care provided by LPNs, RNPs, nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree

- 3-5 years of experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

- Proficiency in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Impella device, Swan-Ganz catheter, arterial lines, ventilator/tracheostomy care, and gastrostomy tubes, as well as medication titration

Preferred Qualifications:

- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification

- Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) certification
