Pride Health is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for one of its Santa Ana, California clients .

This is an 18-week contract with a possible extension with competitive pay and benefits.

Length of Assignment: 18 weeks (With a possible extension)

Shift and Time: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Location - Santa Ana, California (92704)

Pay range - $15 - $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

This position performs any or all tasks associated with the receiving, pick, pack and shipping operations of the Western regional client supply fulfillment center.

Job Duties

• Receiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools)
• Material put away into storage or flow racks.
• Box build.
• Initiating orders on the line
• Pre-packaging and counting
• Material transfers
• Physical inventor
• Item picking and proper placement.
• Packing with air pillows and tape guns
• Shipping and affixing labels
• Pallet preparation
• Loading trucks and filling/confirming orders.
• Other duties may include offline filling of orders, labeling, safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks, moving/lifting and general cleanup.
• Must comply with work instructions and corporate policies including safety and material management.
• Able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Two years of warehouse experience
• Shipping software and label printing.
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Item recognition and counting
• Proper packaging techniques.
• Safe lifting and cutting practices.
