Role – Specialist Logistics Biomedical
Location – New York, NY 10032
Shift – 3 pm to 11 pm
Pay - $24- $26/ hr
Contract Length - 6 months (possible extension)

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the logistics of new biomedical equipment, ensuring proper incoming inspections in collaboration with operational managers.
• Maintain an inventory of biomedical equipment and supplies, tracking and managing stock levels.
• Ensure all equipment is transported safely and efficiently between buildings, including the physical movement of hospital beds.
• Assist in the setup, testing, and troubleshooting of new biomedical equipment.
• Provide logistical support for the installation and decommissioning of biomedical devices.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, movements, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with biomedical engineering and clinical staff to ensure equipment availability and readiness.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to biomedical equipment logistics.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or at least 4 years of equivalent experience in logistics or biomedical engineering.
• Strong physical ability to move and handle heavy equipment, including hospital beds.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and inventory management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
