PrideStaff Financial has partnered with our Carrollton, Texas based client in search of a dynamic Accounting Specialist to join their growing team!
This role is a mix of transactional accounting & office management.
In this position, you will confidently compute, classify, and record numerical data, ensuring that everything is accurate and up to date. Alongside your financial duties, you will effectively manage general office tasks such as answering phones and handling correspondence, bringing a dynamic flair to each workday.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain complete financial records by expertly computing, classifying, and recording numerical data.
- Execute routine calculations, postings, and verifications to gather vital financial data.
- Thoroughly check figures and documents for accurate entries and mathematical precision.
- Leverage accounting software to efficiently record, store, and analyze financial information.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, effectively communicating your findings to the team.
- Manage general office duties, including filing and responding to calls and correspondence.
**What We’re Looking For:**
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is highly valued.
- 1-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- 1-3 years of strong administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of economic and accounting principles, with a strong ability to analyze financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
