Job Title: Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer

Reports To: CEO

Workdays: Monday through Friday, During Tax Season - Saturdays as Needed

Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break) 35 Hour Work Week

Starting Salary: $50,000 to $65,000

Position Summary: The Bookkeeper works with our professional team members primarily recording and analyzing data in QuickBooks Online for multiple clients, reviewing financial statements internally and with clients via zoom and in person, reconciling, sales tax filing, scanning, working strongly in excel, word and outlook, and assisting with tax prep data entry.

Required: Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Outlook, Excel (Formulas, V Lookups and Filtering), Word, Adobe Sign, and all other Microsoft software, Multitasking, Minimum typing speed 50 WMP, strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment especially during tax season.

Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities:

• QuickBooks Online data entry for multiple clients
• QuickBooks Online bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain chart of accounts
• Month end closing
• Prepare financial statements and generate monthly reports
• Review financial statements and reports internally and with clients
• Maintain excel worksheets
• Maintain outlook mail, task, and calendar
• Manage incoming documents via our secure portal
• Assist with preparation of federal and state tax documents
• Assist with personal and business tax preparation
• Handle ad hoc projects and other administrative duties
• Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
