Great company serving the automotive industry with critical production equipment is in Erlanger KY and is seeking to add a CNC Machinist. PrideStaff has this opening and is sourcing candidates right away for this Direct Hire position!

1st Shift - (Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm) CNC Operator $18hr-$26 depending on expereince.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Set-up and operate CNC equipment including lathes, horizontal and vertical machining centers.
• Read CNC programs, familiar with G & M codes.
• Make minor edits to CNC programs.
• Read and interpret engineered blueprint drawings.
• Understand and apply geometric tolerances.
• Use various inspection tools and gages (i.e., ID/OD mics, calipers, taper gages, thread gages, etc...)
• Machine to required tolerances
• Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/MUST HAVES

• High Mechanical aptitude/Mechanical background
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained
• Proven record of strong attendance
• Team player
• High school diploma or GED
• Blueprint reading
• 2 years of machining experience with lathes, mills or drills. Manual or CNC
• Quality measurement tool experience (mics, calipers, & gauges)

PLUS

• Machinist Technical schooling

The applicant should

Be able to set up, program and run CNC mills

1-3 years of programming skills

Be familiar with G-Code

Familiarity with any of the following controls a plus: Fanuc, HAAS, Mazatrol, Heidenhain

Be able to make parts from prints (blue print

Be experienced in machining prototypes and parts

Be able to read precision measuring devices

Familiarity with metric system a plus

Be able to keep close tolerances

Be able to inspect own parts

Have a mechanical aptitude and good math skills

Be used to work independently and efficient

Be dependable and reliable

Have perfect attendance record

Have good work ethics

Be flexible and willing to learn

Be willing to work overtime

Be a team player

Be physically fit to stand on feet and lift 30-50 pounds
