Electrostatic Painter 

Position Summary: 
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented electrostatic painter to join our team. The painter will be responsible for applying paint to various metal products using electrostatic spray guns. This role requires expertise in electrostatic painting techniques, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and a strong attention to detail. 

Job Roles: 
Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate surface treatments. Set up and operate the painting equipment, including electrostatic spray guns and spray booths. Apply paint evenly and consistently to achieve desired thickness and coverage. 

• Monitor and adjust equipment settings, such as spray pressure and temperature, to ensure optimal coating performance. 
• Inspect finished products for quality defects, such as runs, sags, or uneven coverage, and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments. 
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines for electrostatic materials and operating equipment. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including spray booths, equipment, and tools. Keep accurate records of materials usage, production output, and quality inspections. 
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks, meet production deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction. 

Requirements: 
Proven experience as an electrostatic painter or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficiency in powder coating techniques, including surface preparation, application, and curing processes. Ability to interpret job specifications, color codes, and work instructions. 

• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. 
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for handling chemicals and operating equipment. 
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. 
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in painting is a plus.
