Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner
• Assemble furniture as needed
• Install items according to blueprints, job tickets and/or orders
• Travel to one business in the area at a time when and if needed (first 90 days will only travel to one location per day at a time; may travel to different locations after 90 days to install when needed
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to affix and position equipment in a designated location to complete the set-up process 
• Recent and relevant experience with carpentry, assembly, sheetrock, construction, installation, loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, etc are preferred not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work Monday - Friday 7-4 pm (Occasional Saturday)
• Candidate should be mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and a tape measure
• Pay rate ranges from $16-$25/hr (Depends on experience)
