Great company is seeking a candidate to fill in for someone on medical leave. This is a company who needs to supply their distribution centers with product.

This role will coordinate all incoming and outbound orders. Communicate with Customers and ensure the proper Purchase Orders and matching Bills of Lading are issued.

Mon-Fri 7 : 30a-3 : 00p, pay depends on experinece but is targeted as $20-23 / hr.PrideStaff is sourcing the candidates for this role!

Job Summary :

The Logistics Coordinator role will be responsible for taking initial tire orders and filling out all required documents / tracking forms from our Intercompany sales.

After scheduling all of the shipments, the logistics coordinator will have to communicate back to the customers with delivery dates and times.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Coordinating freight for all incoming and outbound orders
• Communicating with the Customers about orders including PO's and delivery estimates / updates
• Updating all internal / external reporting relating to Deliveries (Inbound / Outbound)
• Scheduling and reporting of all 3rd party freight based on cost and service needs
• Issuing Freight PO's for all 3rd party freight
• Issuing BOL's for all shipments
• Communicating directly with the Warehouse department on current and incoming orders to ensure the warehouse team is preparing all outgoing orders timely
• Ensuring warehouse team has the internal truck schedule so all trucks are loaded loaded / unloaded timely
• Track / investigate / reconcile any lost / misplaced / error in shipments
• Scheduling of any miscellaneous bulk freight shipments such as casings pickups, chassis / container pickups
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• 2-4 years of similar experience

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Normal office setting, using the phone, copier, and other office equipment

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
