We are looking to hire Machine Operators in the Meriden, CT area! Temp-to-hire!
Machine Operator Pay: $22/hr
Machine Operator Schedule: 12pm-8pm M-F/ or 7 am-7 PM
Machine Operator Summary:
Responsible for following the schedule and orders submitted in the Converting Department. The Operator will pull the specified materials, tooling, and/or equipment required for the specified jobs. Prepares and sets up the materials for running the specified jobs.
Machine Operator ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Safe operation of all manufacturing equipment.
- Be able to read and understand department paperwork
- Able to read and write in English and utilize Converting and Inventory Files
- Must be adept at working with all required computer entries
- Demonstrate the ability to properly use rulers, calipers and micrometers.
Machine Operator ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Tech 2 and Tech 3 in the operation of other equipment as assigned.
- Assist with sample bookmaking.
- Assist with packaging.
- Maintains an optimal level of product quality
