PrideStaff is hiring for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in the Gulfport MS area!!
Job Type:  Full Time/Temp-to-Hire
Hours: 40 - 48 per week (flexibility a MUST); 12 Hour Shifts
Hourly Pay Rate: $22/hr. Plus-DOE
Preferred candidates will have a multitude of Maintenance experience that crosses many trades; electrical, mechanical, facilities maintenance, welding, pneumatic & hydraulic, be mechanically inclined and will possess a strong will to learn!
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Complete corrective repairs in a timely manner
• Working knowledge of high and low voltage along with 3-phase electricity
• Trouble shoot and diagnose equipment issues
• Working knowledge of process equipment (pumps, drives, gear boxes, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Boilers, Air Compressors, Chillers
• Ability to perform basic wiring and installation of conduit
• Ability to use basic electrical testing equipment
• Working knowledge of Industrial OSHA requirements (LOTO, Confined Space, Fall Protection, etc.)
• Ensure that work area is always clean, tidy and safe
• Inspect, repair, install and service equipment
• Complete all preventive work orders and inspections in a timely manner
• Facility maintenance (light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Provide assistance to other maintenance personnel as necessary
• Recommend to the Maintenance Manager solutions to reduce lost time due to mechanical problems; inventories for mechanical spare parts; and required mechanical tools
• Adhere to Company policies- supporting management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner
• Notify supervisor or environmental / safety coordinator/ or quality manager any incidents/accidents in the work place that adversely affect (or have the potential to affect) personnel, the environment, the quality in accordance with our QEHS management system
• Comply with PPE requirements at all times
• Perform all work requested by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Computer literate
• Microsoft Office (basic skills)
• Understanding of process and related equipment operations in manufacturing
• Ability to work in a team environment while being self-motivated
• Possesses a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality
• Willingness to work multiple shifts or weekends as required by management

Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:

• Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance
• Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
• Ability to work in tight spaces, heights and environmentally unfriendly conditions
• Reports to the Operations Manager.
