PrideStaff is looking for production laborers to assist our client in the Del Mar area. As a Production Laborer you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of natural and fresh dog food products.

Working within a dynamic team environment, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the efficient and safe production of our client's premium pet food.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate production equipment and machinery in accordance with safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Responsible for preparing and cooking human grade pet treats in small batches to ensure the highest safety and quality
• Ensure packages of treats are accurately labeled, weighed and sealed; operate and maintain sealers to highest standards;

accurately count finished treats and report totals to supervisors

• Prepare overall production of treats and transfer documents, label, case and move finished treats, process supply deliveries, wash dishes and maintain restrooms
• Clean up station during and at end of shift
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding workplace safety, attendance, and conduct

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Kitchen experience
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is an asset
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail; ability to conduct repetitive tasks with quality
• General understanding of basic kitchen functions, various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Must be able to work between the hours of 10 am to 6 pm, with weekend availability

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $17.85 - $18.00 Per Hour
