Primary Behavioral Health is looking for Contractor Interpreters to work with our Vietnamese speaking clients. Our independent contractors provide interpreting services for clients receiving mental health treatment. Our scheduling manger will schedule the appointments at an agreed date and time by our client and Contracting Interpreter. Services are offered in office, in the client home, in the community, or through our telehealth platform.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

• The Independent Contracted Interpreters are responsible for maintaining functions within the scope of practice from the Idaho Office for Refugees and internal training.
• Primary BHS will contract with Interpreter to provide Interpretive Services to the children, adults, and families served by Primary. The scope of services requires the Contracted Interpreter to:
• Prior experience providing interpretive services strongly desired.
• Must be a team player, detail oriented, patient, professional, and reliable.
• Available for work assignments during regular business hours. Evening and weekend availability a strong plus.
• Interpreters will uphold confidentially while facilitating communication between service providers and clients. Interpreters will maintain confidentiality of all client contact information, electronic and/or verbal forms.
• Having use of a working vehicle, carrying minimum liability insurance required in State of Idaho preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check conducted by the DHW.
• Proof of: valid ID driver’s license
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must speak fluently in English as well as the language they are providing interpretive services for. Be reliable for our office, providers, and clients are a must.
