Responsibilities
•Establish a plan of care including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities and/or manual therapy for each patient
•Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and/or manual therapy and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions
•Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor
•Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
•Analyze and draw conclusions based on data collected from the patient's tests and examinations
•Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient
•Keep records of the patient's medical history and follow all rules, regulations, and protocols
Qualifications
•Must have a bachelor's degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
•Previous experience working with patients in a healthcare environment is highly desired
•Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills
•Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required for this position
•This position requires you to be currently licensed in the state you practice
