Title: IT Manager

Location: Fairbanks, AK

Salary: $113,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Relocation: Provided, lump sum offered - amount determined case by case

What You'll Be Doing:

• IT Oversight: Manage IT operations for 10 locations
• Strategic Leadership: Guide the IT team, including system administrators, network engineers, and IT support technicians, to deliver cost-effective IT services aligned with organizational goals.
• Technical Expertise: Design, install, and maintain server systems at both hardware and software levels. Provide tier III troubleshooting and end-user support as needed.
• Change Management: Implement and oversee the IT Change Management program, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and minimizing disruptions.
• Budget Management: Recommend and oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions to meet company goals.
• Policy Development: Review and update IT policies, ensuring proper implementation and compliance.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee maintenance and administration of network infrastructure, including software releases and system upgrades.
• Disaster Recovery: Regularly review, test, and update the IT disaster recovery plan to ensure business continuity.
• Support and Backup: Organize IT support for both IT and OT systems, maintain system backups, and manage recovery processes.
• Workstation Support: Guide maintenance of workstation hardware, operating systems, and applications, including troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Team Development: Support career growth and continuous learning within the IT team to maintain high performance and exceptional service.
• Standards Compliance: Implement cybersecurity frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• IT Metrics: Collect, analyze, and present key IT performance metrics to stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field (Required)

Work Experience:

• 10 years in Information Technology (Required)
• 5 years in a supervisory role (Required)

• Network Infrastructure: Proficient in LAN/WAN topologies and Cisco Systems.
• Cloud Services: Experience with Office 365 and SaaS platforms.
