Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Junior Sourcing Specialist -Oil and Gas for our client, a leader in the energy industry. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced professional looking to advance their career by leveraging their expertise in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiations within a dynamic and growing organization. This role is for a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Supply Chain Management (SCM) services
• Function as key liaison for assigned categories to provide active solutions to business needs
• Lead development of sourcing strategies and tactical execution plans for assigned categories
• Review key categories and market factors to determine optimal sourcing strategy
• Develop work plans and milestone schedules
• Integrate plans and schedules with business needs to enable on-time execution
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement and market intelligence practices to drive efficiencies and cost reductions
• Facilitate invoice discrepancies and develop solutions for vendor accuracy and payment
• Support team in system transition and implementation as part of ERP integration
• Develop bid tenders and negotiation templates and lead efforts to solicit commercial offerings
• Negotiate and maintain contractual terms and conditions utilizing Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Purchase Orders (POs), Outline Agreements (OLAs) and other contractual terms as necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable with a 6 month contract.
• 3 years of experience in supply chain management
• Intermediate level of proficiency conducting RFPs, sourcing evaluations, and post-award contract management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Preferred: 5 years of supply chain management experience supporting upstream oil and gas
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related technical discipline
• Preferred: Intermediate level of GEP experience
• Preferred: Intermediate level of proficiency in technical and commercial analytics and evaluations
• Ability to understand business needs and handle supply chain activities
• Proven ability to implement plans and effective organizational skills
