Pay Range: $65-$75- W2, no PTO or Benefits includedJob Description:- As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for analyzing datasets across multiple data warehouses, which are based on GCP, Azure and SAP BW platforms and ensuring the quality, and integrity of organizational data.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish Data Stewardship activities of analyze requirements, build specification documents, co-ordinate with implementation teams, perform data validations and UATs.
- This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, strong SAP BW and SQL experience along with heavy exposure of data domains in Commercial, SCM, Planning, Finance, Manufacturing etc.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:4 - 6 years with SAP BW and GCP big query is preferred.
Responsibilities:1. Analyze data models in SAP BW and derive business insights.
2. Validate Azure Lakehouse database views and create data integration mapping specifications.
3. Ensure that data models follow Crop Science warehouse data governance guidelines.
4. Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data anomalies, inconsistencies.
5. Assist in developments, perform data validations, and support production deployments in GCP.
6. Prepare business test scenarios and UAT test cases.
7. Support development, platform and UAT teams on requirement clarification.
8. Work closely with the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
9. Stay up to date with industry trends and database best practices.
Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proficiency in data analysis and data profiling techniques.
3. Familiarity with data quality management concepts and tools.
4. Experience with data warehouse platforms, such as SAP BW and GCP, or similar.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Attention to detail and ability to work in a highly organized and structured manner.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi priorities environment.
