Experience with water and sewer installations. Knowledge of: reading locate sheets and possible underground and/or overhead utilities; workplace safety requirements and procedures; and equipment operation, cleaning and maintenance requirements. Ability to read and understand field survey layouts, policies, procedures and instructions.

- Works under the direction of the site foreman, to complete daily schedule of work.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Review plans and specifications of projects.
- Perform excavation in accordance with OSHA Standards
- Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required.
- Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Advise Foreman of any required maintenance or repairs.
- Participate in routine maintenance.
- Practice workplace safety to ensure the safety of fellow employees and public.
