Klymen.com is growing WNY cell phone buyback business. We are seeking a Cellphone Quality control Technician for our Henrietta, NY Office to perform quality control purchased devices, small repair if necessary and provide customer and product support via email and phone. Most of our inbound business traffic is over the web. We are looking for motivated, ambitious, responsible and committed candidate that recognize upward opportunity comes through performance excellence.

Prior experience in cellphone repair is necessary.

The position of Quality control and Repair Technician is responsible for all aspects of testing received devices, and small repair (replacing batteries and screens). As well as responding to customers and product inquiries via email and phone.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Receives products coming into the building by vendors, or customers.

· Verifies the quantity and description of products received by checking merchandise against the purchase order.

· Verifies the quality of devices

· Performs small repair if necessary (battery, screen replacement, speakers and microphones repair )

· Prepares a receiving report if none is available.

· Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.

· Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.

· Respond to customers and product support inquiries via email.

Prepare shipping label, packaging products

· Provide customer, order and product support via phone.

Competencies:

· Be able to identify product by brand, model, type, style, color or product code.

· Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.

· Solid writing skills in order to provide necessary support via email.

· Solid communication skills to provide phone customer and product support.

· Basic math skills and reasoning skills.

· Ability to understand and execute instructions.

· Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma.

· Knowledge of mobile devices, mMcbooks

· Strong PC skills including familiarity with iOS, Android, Windows, MS Office, and various Internet browsers (IE, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)

· Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)

· Good English reading and writing skills a must

· Good Grammar is a must

· Strong listening and problem-solving skills

· Attentive to detail is a must

· Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and keep track of responsibilities is a must

· Courteous and professional telephone manner along with the ability to deal effectively with customers in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to get along with other team members, accept constructive feedback and exhibit a positive attitude in a team environment

· Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
