Job Summary: The Construction Project Manager of Capital Improvements will be responsible for a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects including capital improvement projects for hospitality and multi-family residential properties.
Job Responsibilities: Including but not limited to
Responsible for managing a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects including capital improvement projects for hospitality and multi-family residential properties.
Manage hospitality and multi-family residential projects; track and control scope of work, resource utilization, schedules, and placement of work; initiate corrective actions as required.
Facilitates the collection of project requirements, specifications, objectives and expectations, and clearly communicates this information to project teams.
Monitor schedule compliance and cooperate with the Corporate Scheduler to update them every two weeks.
Review capital expenditure forms and bids.
Responsible to deliver successful portfolio of projects safely, with all quality attributes, on time and within budget.
Prepare proper project documentation and maintain status of projects on software platform. Autodesk Build (i.e: change orders, daily reports, monthly reports etc.) within compliance guidelines.
Review contracts and agreements to understand terms and conditions of agreements and purchases.
Monitor Trade Partner performance and issue Deficiency notices when necessary for non-performance, defects, or failure to meet the requirements of timely performance in the schedule.
Prepare a variety of written materials (e.g., memos, submittals, RFI’s , quotations, schedules etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities in our management software (AutoDesk Build), providing written reference and/or conveying information related to work of the project(s).
Ensures compliance with appropriate codes, standards, and regulations.
Execute Project Plans using cost, schedule, and performance objectives, resourcing, verification and validation and risk management.
Oversee and schedule all deliveries of FFE, OSE and construction materials for inclusion into the project.
Perform other related duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or a related field, construction management degree preferred.
Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, and other project-related activities.
Strong plan reading skills.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Experience with successfully supporting strategy development and execution, project management.
Experience with issuing purchase orders.
Working knowledge of all 16 CSI Divisions.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Experience in Document Management Systems.
Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while planning and executing timely, effectively, efficiently and accurately.
