Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Regional Clinical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities. Knowledge of Epic systems and specialized skills like PICU, health coaching, triage, neonatal ventilator, and gastric lavage are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• The Regional Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN), licensed by this state, and has experience in nursing service administration, rehabilitative and geriatric nursing.
• The Regional Clinical Nurse is employed full-time and is responsible for, but is not necessarily limited to:
• They will help oversee all Prime skilled nursing facilities.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to the Director of Nursing at each of the assigned facilities.
• Assist DONs and other administrative staff with goal setting; provide consultative help to ensure facilities have necessary systems, policies, and programs in place.
• This is a traveling position and will support facilities on site as needed.
• Be available to train new DON and other nursing management positions as needed,
• Assist buildings when state surveyors are in for complaint/annual.
• Overseeing clinical operations and driving quality outcomes at all facilities in the assigned division
• Assist facilities with recruitment, interviewing and hiring of Nursing administrative staff.
• Creating/updating policy and procedures as needed.
• Filling in DON role when position is needed at assigned home until role has been newly established,
• Must have working knowledge of rules and regulations governing long term care facilities. Update administrative nursing staff of changes as needed.
• Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of nursing and other direct care in the facilities

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
