Job Description: Monitoring patients' vital signs, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and other telemetry data to assess their health status and identify any signs of deterioration or abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize remote monitoring technology to continuously track and analyze patients' vital signs, ECGs, and other telemetry data.Recognize and promptly respond to changes in patients' conditions, including abnormal vital signs or arrhythmias.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to relay critical information and collaborate on patient care plans.
- Document all monitoring activities, assessments, and interventions accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on the use of remote monitoring devices and provide instructions for self-care as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case conferences to discuss patient progress and optimize care coordination.
- Experience: 2 years Telemetry experience
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
- License: MI RN state
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred)
- Completion of 1 travel assignment - Required
- Paragon EMR Experience - Highly Preferred
