Job Title: Dialysis RN
Location: Augusta, GA 30901
Duration: 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)
Start Date: August 2024
Shift Schedule: 6.30AM -5.00PM (Monday through Saturday)
Responsibilities
License: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Electro Cardia Gram Course - Preferred)
Experience: 3 years’ experience performing hemodialysis on patients who are hospitalized in an acute setting, and experience with dialysis of patients in intensive care unit setting. and (must have worked within the last six months in a Dialysis setting.)
Location: Augusta, GA 30901
Duration: 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)
Start Date: August 2024
Shift Schedule: 6.30AM -5.00PM (Monday through Saturday)
Responsibilities
- Oversees the preparation of the delivery system, dialysate bath, and dialyzer and confirms that all mandatory alarm tests on the dialyzer and equipment are performed.
- Conducts pre-dialysis patient assessment including obtaining patient vital signs and assessing the patient’s vascular access, laboratory findings, and the patient’s general health.
- Verifies that patients are taking all prescribed medications and performs medication reconciliation.
- Assesses, prepares, and cannulates a patient’s vascular access (including needle insertion in arteriovenous fistula or grafts for aseptic connection with dialysis equipment).
- Utilizes sterile techniques to assess the dialysis catheter exit site and to apply dressing on the patient’s vascular access (dialysis catheter, arteriovenous access) per protocols.
License: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Electro Cardia Gram Course - Preferred)
Experience: 3 years’ experience performing hemodialysis on patients who are hospitalized in an acute setting, and experience with dialysis of patients in intensive care unit setting. and (must have worked within the last six months in a Dialysis setting.)
