Prime Retail Services is Hiring a Project Coordinator - Construction Near Flowery Branch, GA

Prime Retail Services has an immediate opening for a full-time entry level Project Coordinator - Construction. This role will be based out of our corporate office in Flowery Branch, GA. Overtime, a hybrid schedule will be developed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Will attend client meetings
  • Must be available to travel as needed for project visits and/or onsite project support
  • Must be available for overnight and weekend support

Pre-Construction Planning

  • Asist in Soliciting subcontractors and qualifying bids from subcontractors
  • Helps to document bids that are received from subcontractors
  • Assist in establishing project scope, goals, and completion requirements
  • Determine staffing, material, and equipment requirements
  • Set up and attend conference calls
  • Source materials and equipment
  • Ensure that project has adequate staff, all materials and equipment onsite prior to project start
  • Contact store management to confirm start dates, times, and scope of work
  • Create job codes in accounting program. Enter estimated expenses and revenue
  • Prepare, sign and email Purchase Orders and work orders

Project Execution/Closeout

  • Review daily reporting for accuracy
  • Field calls from field crew and store personnel
  • Monitor the progress of project
  • Ensure that all closeout documents have been received, including sign offs, photos, videos, and certificate of occupancy
  • Arrange for equipment removal
  • Prepare invoices/payment applications as required by the client

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Dependable- Adheres to work schedule

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans

PREFERRED:

  • Associates Degree in Administration, Construction, or Business
  • Bachelors' Degree in Business, Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of and experience with staffing construction projects
