Prime Retail Services is Hiring a Receivables Specialist Near Flowery Branch, GA

Prime Retail Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Receivables Specialist, which will work in a hybrid capacity from our corporate office out of Flowery Branch, GA. The Hybrid schedule would include M/W in office with the choice of T/TH.

We are in need of an experienced and proficient accounts receivables team player to join the Finance team here at Prime!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the current AR Aging Report to assess collections needs.
  • Maintain accurate notes in the system regarding status of invoices and collection efforts.
  • Maintain client billing/ collection procedures spreadsheet.
  • Perform collections duties including calls, email, letters.
  • File prelim invoices and mechanics as needed.
  • Daily bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow spreadsheet.
  • Responsible for driving achievement of AR goals for the company: DRO, Average Receivables Age.
  • Create system to collect from customers (visibility on internal vs external billed, contacts, communication with customers, trigger points for contact/escalation, etc.)
  • Be the expert on the status of all outstanding AR.
  • Deep understanding of customer payment behavior.
  • System for utilizing process to collect.
  • Forecasting cashflow and bank rec.
  • Updating metrics and reports.
  • Ensuring customer payment data (terms, ACH, etc.) accuracy in company and client software platforms.
  • Approve ACH’s as needed.
  • Deposit remittances to the bank and in CE.

COMPETENCIES:

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Superior mathematics, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented with speed and accuracy.
  • PC proficiency with a high level of experience with Microsoft Office specifically Excel
