BECOME A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR!Our System Administrator is responsible for maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. This role involves taking responsibility for projects and solutions, developing analytics for meaningful insight, and enabling faster and smarter business processing. Our system administrator will also handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage within larger business initiatives
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
  • Serve as an escalation point for the service desk and telecommunications team.
  • Proactively monitor support tickets and assign resources as necessary.
  • Manage on-prem/cloud server Microsoft environments (AD, Azure, O365, Exchange).
  • Administer security and content for SharePoint instances.
  • Manage/maintain network and telecom connectivity.
  • Team lead for maintaining data center operations.
  • Lead, train, and mentor IT staff members; including technical support for operation issues.
  • Work closely with HRIS and payroll systems including maintaining interfaces and data integrity.
  • Work closely with other groups within PrimeFlight to adopt best practices, improved tool sets, and seamless IT operations.
  • Participate in 7 X 24 on-call rotation as necessary.
  • Available to work holidays, be on-call, and travel, as necessary.
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills, as well as professional attitude.
  • Ability to lead teams, work cross-functionally, build consensus on difficult issues, and work in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources.
  • Proficient situational analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation, and analytical skills, and possess a strong desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older
  • 2-Year Degree in technology related field.
  • 5-7 years’ experience working in information technology.
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing data center operations.
  • IT certifications a plus,
  • Proficient with PowerShell scripting.
  • Proficient with networking protocols and Meraki devices.
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory (on-prem), Azure and O365.
  • Experienced with administering SharePoint security and content.
  • Strong working knowledge of mobile platforms.
  • MDM and DB experience a plus.
  • Eligible to work in the United States
Physical Activity/Working Conditions May Include
  • Position is generally sedentary, sitting for long periods of time, with occasional mobility in an office environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by an office environment
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and or fingers due to continuous typing or writing
