Primeritus Financial Services is Hiring an Associate Accountant Near Nashville, TN
- Reviews, approves, and processes AR transactions including incoming checks, ACH, or wire transfers; analyzes and resolves any AR issues as needed.
- Reconciles cash/bank and other general ledger accounts with various ledgers and supporting documents and performs other month-end closing responsibilities.
- Assists with maintaining schedules and reconciliations of various AP/AR accounts and prepares journal entries for the general ledger.
- Continually searches for improved methods of tracking, controlling, and reporting financial information
- Collaborates with the accounting team in preparation of annual audits.
- Manages special projects as requested by Senior Management.
- Performs other duties as directed by Manager.
- This is a full time, hybrid position working from our Nashville TN or Raleigh NC office.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Office suite; Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, macros).
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of / experience with state and federal rules and regulations pertaining to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Gramm-Leach – Bliley Act (GLBA) preferred.
