Job Summary:
This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. Perm and Benefits contingent upon the award of the contract. Expected award date in November.
Work shall be one hundred percent (100%) dedicated to the account and performed on-site as the Clinical Account Manager (CAM) to assist with:
1. The day-to-day management and administration of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee;
2. Organizing, managing, and conducting the two annual P&T Committee meetings;
3. Presenting clinical and cost information at all P&T Committee meetings;
4. Facilitating each of the P&T Committee meetings in the review of the therapeutic classes, including new drugs/products or clinical criteria as approved by the FDA, and provide recommendations to the P&T Committee and the Department for appropriate changes to the Preferred Drug List (PDL);
5. Development, administration, and management of the PDL;
6. Attending any event/meeting as required by the Department, including, but not limited to, each quarterly Corrective Managed Care (CMC) Advisory Committee meeting and Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Board meeting, and may be requested to present a status report of the PDL at any such event/meeting;
7. May be required to visit prescribers or pharmacies at their place of business (not to exceed twenty [20] visits per year);
8. Utilization management;
9. Conduct data analytics and cost modeling;
10. Be responsible for reviewing and making clinical decisions on prior- authorization requests within the Department;
11. Work with the Department’s POS Vendor and the Department’s Pharmacy Team and shall be responsible for reviewing prior-authorizations, data analytics, research, etc.; and
12. Other tasks as assigned by the Department.
Skills/Knowlege:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Experience in P&T committee meetings and process.
- Government Rebate Management knowledge
- Supplemental Rebate/PDL knowledge
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Account management experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Public speaking and presentation skills
