Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is searching for a Senior GL Accountant in the Lewisville, TX area. The Senior Accountant will provide support for operational units and sister companies within the shared services department. For this role, we are looking for a proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Assist with month-end close process
• Account reconciliations
• Journal entries including revenue and cost adjustments
• Set up new GL accounts & maintain Concur database
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Audit requests, including SOX Audits
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
• Additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-5 years’ general ledger accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SOX compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Motivated to develop soft skills and accounting knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Able to work independently as well as being part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills that result in on-time deliverables
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or Pursuing CPA preferred
• Public accounting experience
