About This Role: Criminal Justice Services is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills for a career opportunity as a Veterans Docket Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the program budget and resources, coordination of the Veterans Docket Team, other stakeholders as well as the Veterans Docket Court Advisory Team; grant writing, maintaining individual files on participants; compiling statistical data and guiding or participating in the program evaluation; contract management; preparation and management of veterans court dockets; and soliciting community support through education and other linkages in an effort to enhance services available to the participant.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related experience in the criminal justice field.

Preferences: 
Bachelor's degree in public administration, criminal justice, social work, or psychology (Master’s degree preferred). 
Experience in criminal justice programs
Case management
Substance abuse services, providing services to court involved individuals
Data collection and interpretation of data
Experience in the Virginia Criminal Justice System
Experience with veterans court dockets or other specialized treatment courts

Special Requirements: Background check required

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional nights/weekends for program presentations and meetings. Occasional overnight travel required. 

Starting Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $97,968.00 annually
