We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our incredible team!
Purchasing Specialists work under the direction of our Division Managers to maintain warehouse stock levels by analyzing demand, preparing and forwarding purchase orders. They verify receipt of items and authorize payment. They coordinate with outside vendors to maintain accurate item information. Additionally, coordinates direct shipments between outside vendors and customers. Purchasing Specialists may be assigned to one of several division managers, but must be able to work across all areas of the purchasing department as needed.

Attractive candidates will have strong analytical and communication skills, a thorough knowledge of Excel and familiarity with medium and advanced functions such as V-lookup and pivot tables. Physical DemandsThis position may require some heavy lifting. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, first shift, 40 hours per week. This is an in-office position located in Marshfield, WI. Hybrid may be an option after training and introductory period is completed.

Required Education And Experience
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office programs with an in-depth knowledge in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Procurement, Finance or related field preferred or equivalent experience of 3 or more years.
  • Advanced Math Skills, accounting basics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills on the phone and in person
  • Ability to resolve complex problems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge in AS400, Inventory Management software and query a plus.
