We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, preparing the patient for treatment, and providing post-operative instructions.
Additionally, the Dental Assistant will need to be familiar with radiology and surgery techniques as well as other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
- Keep patient records up to date.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and billing patients.
