Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Qualifications
84 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
84 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS).
60 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
12 months experience with a Government organization, which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex systems.
60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries
84 months of experience in system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems and writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
ResponsibilitiesSystem Development Life Cycle for a multi-tiered complex processing system. The responsibilities will include both new development as well as maintenance tasks. Specific tasks will include:
Leading the technical design for modernization of legacy systems.
Coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups.
Making changes in multiple systems in real time to enable changes requested by user group.
Implementing technical solutions.
Developing tax processing system components and maintaining existing processing systems.
Supporting production tasks including analysis of issue, proposing and implementing solutions for defect resolution.
Coordinating with development team on development activities and integration testing.
Developing technical design documents and program specifications.
Guiding requirements gathering sessions.
Guiding the analysis of requirements and system design work.
Coding, and performing unit and integration tests of programming assignments.
