Principal Manufacturing is Hiring a Sorter Near Broadview, IL
The Sorter will sort, package, and label parts for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Sort, package and label parts and boxes for shipment.
- Maintain a high level of parts quality and accuracy; ensure each part is handled and packaged appropriately.
- Fill out product reports and input product information into Plex (ERP System).
- Maintaining lean concepts while looking for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and efficiently perform production assignment/ expectations from Supervisor within allotted time period per the production schedule.
- Ensure work area is safe and free of obstacles and work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries following all safety regulations.
- High School diploma or equivalent education/certification/job experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read measuring equipment i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Bilingual in Spanish/ English.
- Knowledge of TS requirements.
- Previous sorting or quality experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing process
