Location: Hanover Park, IL
Type: Full-TimeThe position is responsible for shipping and safe handling of quality ingredients from our Muirfield facility in a manner that promotes a safe workplace, protects the environment, and exceeds regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will assist the Warehouse Manager in providing our customers with products that are shipped on time, in full and prepared as per the customer’s request.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Print orders and supporting documentation from remote offices.
- Communicate any issues with documentation to customer service.
- Assist in ensuring correct documents are provided to the warehouse personnel and drivers.
- Ensure all documentation in the shipping office is up to date.
- Check in drivers and assign dock doors.
- Process UPS and FedEx orders.
- Invoice all orders once they are shipped.
- Scan all documents into FBSS.
- Make sure all visitors are signing in and management is notified when they arrive.
- Communicate any issues to the management team in a timely manner.
- Keep a neat and orderly working environment.
- None.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Excellent Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
