Priority Dispatch, Inc. is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Blue, OH

The HR Generalist will play a key role in developing, implementing, and coordinating human resource policies and procedures relative to employment, engagement, training, performance, and associated legal compliance. You'll also help provide services that enhance all associates' quality, productivity, and morale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain all aspects of Paycor HRIS database and routinely audits for accuracy

· Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding tasks as required, including but not limited to

o Scheduling of drug screens and background checks

o Preparation of offer letters

o Performing benefit orientation

o Registration and termination of associates in appropriate platforms

· Serves as the primary administrator of all benefit programs and as liaison for all benefit carriers to ensure timely processing of enrollments, claims, terminations, and payouts, as well as accurate billing and associate deductions for health, dental, life, accidental death, and dismemberment, short- and long-term disability and other supplemental insurance.

· Administers the Company 401(K) plan, including completion of annual non-discrimination questionnaires and testing, service requests for ROE, Form 5558, and Form 5500. Also directs the processing of enrollments, loans, and hardship withdrawals.

· Maintains PDIs associate self-service portal and provides assistance to users

· Process employment-related inquiries from applicants, associates, and terminated employees, including outside verifications of employment

· Maintains a consistent brand voice in all communications and postings.

· Prepares payroll deductions for associates located in multiple states by processing payroll garnishments in accordance with applicable statutes, reconciling employee deductions, employee PTO, etc.

· Serves as a liaison with other departments in the resolution of payroll problems.

· Assists with recruitment sourcing, interviewing, and hiring as needed.

· Audits and updates policies and procedures to protect the interests of associates and the Company while ensuring governmental laws and regulations are followed.

· Participates as a member of the employee engagement team

· Works cross-functionally to help create content for an internal monthly newsletter.

· Ensures Company compliance with all labor-related agency and policy requirements, including the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), thereby mitigating risk.

· Responsible for the management of OSHA compliance for all markets within the Company.

· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate policy, practice, and resources changes to upper management.

· Assist with cultivating employee engagement program and managing Priority events and associate recognition

· Respond to and complete associate unemployment claims

· Collaborates with the Director of HR to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

· Keeps “top of mind” the personal responsibility for cost containment and contribution to Company profitability to ensure long-term prosperity.

· All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development.

· Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources

· Specialized training and knowledge in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, safety, and associate training.

· HR Professional certification is preferred

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Working knowledge of Paycor HRIS system a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.

· Consistently maintains high awareness and commitment to superior customer service

· Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
