Job Description:

_ The duties of the job include: _

- Overseeing all aspects of a large private home in the heart of Providence. Applicants must be creative and have strong problem solving skills as this home was previously a commercial building and is 200 years old. This requires more than simple, straight forward home administration.

- Additionally, the perfect candidate will need to be someone who is extremely organized and able to anticipate the needs of the family and require little direction. This person will also have great interpersonal skills as they will be coordinating and interacting with many different vendors/contractors. The job also required assistant, hands-on type of work.

- 20 hours per week, onsite 2-3 days a week

- Some hours can be remote

- 3 years of experience would be ideal.

Job responsibilities include:

- Source, schedule, and maintain correspondences with vendors/contractors, including masonry companies, roofers, professional window washers, gardeners, handyman, caterers, florists, DJs, etc.

- Handle tasks such as grocery shopping, meal prep, booking personal appointments, restaurant reservations, travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, organizing and taking pet to appointments, helping to organize parties, organizing various parts of the home as needed, keep the home tidy and organized. There is no requirement to clean the home as there is housekeeping.

- Handling shipments and returns, taking inventory and ordering of household goods.

-There are tasks to be done weekly around the house such as washing towels, light ironing of clothes, watering plants, grocery shopping, taking care of dry cleaning, etc.

- This person will serve in many different capacities and thus will be required to do unexpected jobs from time to time, such as helping to pack/unpack for travel, give children rides if something unexpected comes up, decorating for parties, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
