Description:
MUST HAVE MA LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION ASAP START - BACKFILL COVID vaccine required - Medical exemption acceptable Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions are acceptable.
8H rotating shifts, 2-8H and 2-12H days or eves depending on the needs of the unit - 7a-7:30p, 9a-9:30, 11a-11:30p 7a-3:30p, 9a-5:30p, 11a-7:30p, 3p-11:30p - 1 short call per week.
Short call is a 2 hour block of time after a worked shift.
May be responsible for 1 weekend of call per month.
ORTHO AND TOTAL JOINT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Required Qualifications:
MA RN license - CPR- AHA -2 years related work experience required. - Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications. EMR is provider order entry (specific to BIDMC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise About OR East: The East Campus has 20 OR's and cares for patients undergoing Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports medicine, and Oncology), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic, and Interventional Pulmonology surgical procedures.
NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)

MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered.
Parking is expensive - up to $43/day in some cases - public transportation is available.
