About the position **7 week contract* Position / Specialty: 9E PCU RN Neuroscience Main Hospital Ratios: 1:5 Shift: Will work 3x12hr nights 7p-7a with holidays as needed Weekend REQ: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week period (the equivalent of every other weekend) Is on-call REQ? No call requirements. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes License REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certs REQ: (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, NIH Experience REQ: PCU/Stepdown experience Misc. Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs. Locals accepted: Yes. Local radius: 50 miles. Locals accepted on a case by case basis at lower rate RTO Restrictions: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7 days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
