Business Specialist – Head Start: Pro Action’s Birth-to-5 Head Start Program is looking for a full-time Business Specialist to provide support that will ensure that all areas of the program maintain 100% compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and all other applicable program regulations. 

The Specialist will provide clerical support to the Head Start program including answering phones, tracking and entering data. Responsible for ordering supplies and maintain inventory and warehouse and storage management.

Accuracy and proficiency with data entry will be required as the Specialist works with various Managers to ensure that information is filed in the correct databases. Will provide requested reports for the purpose of tracking the enrollment of children/families and the training hours of staff. 

The Specialist is required to maintain working knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, local written plans and policies and Pro Action policies and procedures. Knowledge of NYS Office of Children and Family Services Day Care Regulations must also be maintained.
