Quality Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The Quality Technician has the primary role to ensure all food products produced meet requirements of regulatory bodies, customers, and the company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine quality checks on products and raw materials
• Conduct inspections of production lines to ensure compliance with GMP and SQF standards
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs
• Assist in supplier onboarding and qualification
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformances
• Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP plans
• Assist in the training of employees on quality and food safety procedures
• Maintain documentation and records required to ensure compliance to FDA regulations
• Assist in product traceability exercises and mock recalls

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP
• PCQI certified preferred, or ability to become certified
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
