TMF Center produces component parts for manufacturers of off-highway construction equipment, the mining industry, and heavy-duty trucking. TMF produces components made from steel bar, steel plate and castings. They are currently searching for a CNC Machine Operator
Job DutiesOperates a CNC Machine
Cleans machine when it is not in use
Changes tooling within machine
Checks part using Quality Department-approved tools to determine accuracy to print
Clocks on jobs and parts accurately to notify office personnel of part status
Uses light guards, emergency stops, etc. for safe machine operation.
Operates at or above company quality standards
Consistently practices inspection procedures as set forth in quality manual
Uses measuring tools (calipers, tape, protractor and square) to ensure product accuracy
Uses quality manual as reference for all tasks
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential FunctionsAbility to lift at least 50lbs while standing/bending/twisting for a minimum of 8 hrs.
Must be willing to adhere to the overtime if needed.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
Ability to read Blue-Prints
Steel-Toes required
