Job Title : CNC Equipment Operator
Location : South Bend, IN
Shift : Train on 1st shift for up to 8 weeks, then transition to either 2nd or 3rd shift permanently
Pay Rate :
- 1st Shift : $21 / hour (training period)
- 2nd Shift : $22.50 / hour
- 3rd Shift : $23.50 / hour
Hours :
- 1st 5 am -1 : 30 pm
- 2 nd 1pm to 9 : 30 pm
- 3 rd 9pm to 5 : 30 am
Job Description :
This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain Water Jet or CNC equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting finished products.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as CNC Equipment Operator.
- Familiarity with CNC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
