Production Supervisor
Wage: Up to $23 per hour
Job Summary:
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their assigned department. The primary responsibilities include ensuring that all production goals are met, maintaining a safe work environment, and managing a team of employees to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of production employees, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
Plan and coordinate daily work schedules to ensure production goals are met, while also ensuring that employees adhere to safety and quality standards.
Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback to employees on ways to improve performance.
Communicate with other supervisors and managers to ensure that production goals are being met across the organization.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety rules and regulations and performing regular safety inspections.
Ensure that all equipment and machinery is in good working condition and that any maintenance issues are reported and addressed promptly.
Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team of employees.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, peers, and management.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer programs relevant to the role.
